Hello, people, Mouse here.
I just wanted to let you know that I’m going out on my own with my own blog. My friend Lotti and I decided that it was time for us to widen our social circle, so I briefed the Staff to make it happen.
You’ll be pleased to learn that the Happy Greys Social Club is now live. I am Executive Editor and Creative Director, Mum is Admin, Lotti is Guest Contributor. We are hoping to meet other greyhounds and their Staffs for coffee and conversation on a semi-regular basis. Mum has also helpfully suggested some Staff-inspired topics such as Forth-coming Events, Meet the Members, Resources and Information, Comment Protocol, and a full set of links to all my Travel Reports on this blog.
It’s an exciting day for all of us. Lotti and I and our Staffs had a coffee morning and Board Meeting to sign off on the details, and then we pressed the button to go live. I hope that if you’re interested in my travel reports here you’ll also enjoy our occasional posts there, so please do subscribe. My blog looks different from this one; you’ll find the menu in the small black bar above my logo โ please click on the left hand icon.
I’d love to hear what you think!
Mouse.
Good onya Mouse… and I’d reckon you’d like a comment just about as much as you’d like another frozen chicken neck! – Dad.
Thanks, Dad. Comments are good, but chicken necks are still Da Bomb…
Well, Mouse, I am very impressed! That’s a stylish blog you have set up. I am sure the roles of Executive and Creative Directors will be strenuous, so make sure you get lots of naps as well as doing the work. And remind the staff that chicken necks help keep stress levels down. I love the photo of you and Lotti having the Board Meeting.
Hello Miss Anne! How lovely of you to come over for a visit! Yes, the process has been quite zorsting, especially as I had to go round all the places Lotti had lain and lie on them myself to reestablish the correct smell….
Such hard work!
Quite so, and I feel that as an Executive, I should be allowed to leave the actual labour to the Staff… Mum is bashing at her plank as I speak. It appears she has a lot of stuff to add to the Resources and Info page. Whatever…. so long as dinner arrives on time!
Hey Mouse, I zapped over there, and left a little comment – a great idea that you and Loti came up with…
I have to tell you something, a few months ago I was writing to someone about dog things to do in NZ and then suddenly everywhere I went online, I was been shuffled into adverts for dog parks, dog stores, dog restaurants and even accommodation here in NZ. It got hilarious as it wasn’t about anyone in NZ, but rather someone who was thinking of coming to NZ with their dogs for a few weeks holiday…
I think that’s what the Staff mean when they say Big Brother is watching. Still, being bombarded with doggo information surely can’t be a bad thing?
How exciting Mouse! I will pop over for a look see
Thank you, Miss Chris ๐
I hope you still write on the Staff blog from time to time!
Oh, without a doubt, Miss Laura Grace! After all, I can hardly expect the Staff to make a decent job of vacation reporting, but I shall also duplicate my reports for the HGSC page where I’ve put links to all my past reports.
Congratulations Mouse on your new blog. I just jumped over to see what’s up and I think you and Lotti will have a lot of fun.
Thanks, Miss Terri! I think Lotti’s contribution is going to be confined to giving me lots of opinions, but feedback is always useful….
I’ll jump over and see…I hope you find lots of friend greyhounds there!
Hi, Miss Linda! I’m waiting to find out. Miss Gail at GAP will hopefully send out the Staff’s invitation letter early next week, so we’ll have to be patient.
Okay
Orchid here. You clever thing you! I insisted on signing up straight away because I am a sort of greyhound and black like you. Roo wants to read the posts but I’m not sure we should let her – there is no greyhound in her at all but I expect she will barge in as usual.
Hi Orchid, hi Roo! Goodoh, glad you’ve signed up. I think we’ll have to let Roo join in, because non-greyhound fur siblings are still family, and although sighthounds are of course Best, we mustn’t be non-inclusive. My mate Diesel has been signed on already, and he isn’t even a hound!
How exciting, Mouse! I just commented on your new blog and signed up for email alerts. Can’t wait to read about your adventures! I hope you get to meet lots of new Greyhound friends!
Me too! Thank you so much for following, I hope you’ll find it interesting. Mum has spent some time today looking up things they have bought to make my life more comfortable, in case they should be useful to other people. I must say, she’s working quite hard considering it’s *my* blog…
