SAL 61: another few stitches

I wasn’t sure I’d actually get any stitching done this time.

Second post of the day, I know, but both ScrapHappy and this Stitch Along fell on the same day, so I had to get both done! Here’s the usual before shot:

Last time’s blurry photo…

And now for where I’ve got to. Not spectacular but at the same time, not too bad – at least you can see where I’ve been:

Do go and have a look at what the others in the group are working on. We’re all over the world and in different time zones, so if you don’t see a SAL post yet, pop back later.

The next SAL is due on 6 May, so I’ll see you then.

It’s a whole new petal, I think that’s great progress, especially with everything else you’ve been doing 🙂

I got my nose to the grindstone, and was surprised when I lifted my head again! Amazing how much you can get done while listening/ watching catch-up TV episodes of old Masterchef series…

Looks like you are pushy up to the first quarter done, which is really quite a lot with the schedule you’ve had this past month or so! Well done, Kate!

  5. tonymarkp says:

A bit here and a bit there, mostly! Generally I give myself a good couple of hours on it just before I take a photo and post, but for the rest, it’s just seizing opportunities when I can.

You’ve got quite alot done, it’s looking great. So much hard work though, I don’t know how you do it !

  11. Elizabeth says:

That’s a lovely pattern! You are making steady progress!

  12. So pretty! The colors are so much more vivid compared to the chart. 🙂

    • katechiconi says:

That’s mainly because the chart calls for yarns that aren’t available here, and I’ve had to make substitutions based on the pattern reproduction, using what I can get… I would have liked softer purples, but am content that I can stitch this at all!

This flower is really taking shape! Beautiful 😊

  14. The saying “all progress is good progress” may be trite but its also true. It is also far more than I have done lol.
