It’s Stitch Along time again!
Here’s where I was last time:
And here’s where I am now:
Everyone in the group is working on something beautiful, so it’s worth your while hopping over to take a look. I’m one of the first to post, due to the time zone I live in, so you might want to wait a while till the others get their posts up. This time round, I’ve decided to condense things a bit with the links to the other members. The group is growing, and the list was getting rather long.
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose,
Christina, Susan, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen, and
Steph – our newest member. Welcome, Steph!
Next SAL is on the 8th of January. See you then.
Kate, your Alphabet is growing nicely.
Yes, it’s coming along. I’ve neglected it a bit to try and get the Stay+ quilt done, but that’ll be finished soon, so hopefully a bit more stitchery is on the cards for Christmas 🙂
It will be nice for you to relax over Christmas with your alphabet – a glass of egg nog or bucks fizz to hand (if you’re allowed such things) and a bit of a break from the sewing machine. That’s what I’m planning anyway – just not with the alphabet part 😉
I’ll do some alphabet and I think also some hexies for the Anemone quilt. I do need a little break from the machine… And I expect there’ll be a glass or two of something or other, now that I’m off the painkillers 🙂
So pretty.
Thanks, Cathy. Still a long way to go, but it’ll be fun when the letters are all done.
what comes after the letters, I wonder??? Looking good ^^
Decorative blocks, more borders, fun stuff like that!
S and T, Nice work I´d say. Not so many letters left now, so keep on stitching 🙂
5 more letters to go – remember, I’m missing out the W because it would be too big. After that, I can start more decorative stuff.
Almost there with the alphabet, looks great
Yup, it’ll be nice to move onto something a little different below the letters 🙂
I’m excited to see what happens after the alphabet. You are almost to the stage where I always get a burst of motivation to get to Z! It’s perking right along and looks beautiful!
I won’t be getting through sections as fast after the alphabet, it gets a bit more tricky!
That’s OK, I’m back in tile land this afternoon, and though I’ve at it for two hours straight, all there is to show for it is stuff that could be clouds as easily as a building….I’m loving this vicarious stitching…😀 I’ll enjoy your alphabet today instead of my blobs!
I hear you! I’ve been at it for two straight this afternoon, and the tile looks like a blob…it could be clouds, maybe a building, there’s no way of telling…
Nearly there, it’s a lovely alphabet too!
Thank you, but there’s still a long way to go under the letters 🙂
This is looking amazing. I love that font, (think I’ve mentioned that before) and the borders are so pretty 🙂
It’s wonderfully wiggly and leafy, isn’t it?
So pretty. I really look forward to seeing progress on this one.
Merry Christmas
Thank you, and the same to you!
Gorgeous! I hope you are getting some lovely sunshine in your neck of the woods 🙂
The sunshine is gorgeous, the heat is very hot, the humidity is not quite as much fun!
You’re missing out the W as well??? That’s the SECOND letter you’re just going to chuck!
I know, vot an iconoclast, eh. Vunder vhether anyvone vill actually notice….
As long as you don’t have any friends called Wilma, Winifred or Winston – possibly no-one will even notice 🙂
