Happy Easter!

There was a dark chocolate Lindt bunny beside my bed this morning….

Easter XstitchA sure sign it’s Easter!

Have a good holiday, celebrated according to whatever beliefs or lack of them you cherish.

I’ll be back next week.

Thank you, good to see you back

I’ve been round, but I’ve been quite ill for 5 weeks now … starting with a cough that a long-term-pack-a-day smoker would be proud of and culminating in sinus and chest infections and loss of hearing in one ear 😦 Only now starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel *moan lol

Rotten for you, especially when the weather’s been so hot and sticky. Sounds like you deserve a good moan, and I’m very glad you’re on the mend.

Had a lovely long lie in this morning but not as long as I’d originally thought as the clocks had gone forward 😉
Enjoy your chocolate bunny. I always feel guilty when I bite off their heads – although it doesn’t stop me.

Living in Queensland, we don’t have all that silly fuss about changing the clocks. We stay on proper time the whole year :-). The rest of the country faffs about.
My bunny is missing his ears, but is otherwise whole, as I can’t eat much dark chocolate first thing in the morning. He looks more like a guinea pig now….

Thanks! I started it yesterday afternoon when I realised I didn’t have anything to put in my Happy Easter post. I have loads of small scraps of aida fabric and ends of skeins of embroidery thread, so it was easy to do something on the spur of the moment.

  6. Happy Easter, happy spring, Happy everything! 🙂

In my case, it’s happy autumn, and thank goodness for it, we’ve had such a hot Wet. I love the days when you can tell the Dry is on the way, still hot in the day, but cooler at night.

Happy Easter, have a great time.

Happy Easter. We’re still making modest inroads into last Christmas’ influx of chocolate… but the neighbours brought gifts of Cadbury eggs which although we’ll share with MiL we’ll probably be still nibbling next Christmas.

    • katechiconi says:

Chocolate disappears more slowly around here now that I’m lactose intolerant as well as gluten free… Whatever we get given usually has to disappear down the Husband’s throat while I look on grumpily!

Not a single Easter egg at our house! Lots of hot cross buns though…..I do hope that you had a lovely break, Kate. Beautiful autumnal weather in Melbourne now. Have you had any rain lately?

    • katechiconi says:

I have been both bun and egg deprived 😦
The Husband has been on night shift for the whole holiday weekend, so fun has had to wait, sadly. The weather has been lovely, but is at last becoming a little cooler at night.
