A bit more progress, despite the all-consuming Big Quilt Project 🙂
I’ve managed to get the bottom half finished. This was last time
And this is now
Next time, I hope to have the start of the top half ready to show you. It’s another alphabet, upper case letters this time, plus a few decorative twiddles.
As always, it’s worth your while visiting the other SAL stitchers, even if they’re not posting progress today. Don’t forget about the difference in time zones; if you’re seeing me first, you may need to drop in to theirs a bit later to give them a chance to get their posts up.

Can’t wait to see the top half
It’s going to go a bit faster; it’s all upper case letters and fewer fiddly bits!
Love it, looking forward to seeing it progress.
Thanks! Hopefully I’ll be able to maintain progress over the next few weeks.
Looking great so far! Hope the weather is better, so you can go on your planned travel 🙂
We’re already 2/3 of the way there, and the weather is much improved. We have a very full program for the trip, and I don’t think I’ll be doing a while lot of sewing, so I may not have so much to show next time…
As long as you are enjoying your trip, it doesn´t matter if you stitch or not 🙂
I am stitching, but not on this…. Not enough good light – you know how that feels!
Great progress. Considering all of your other commitments, it’s pretty amazing! Enjoy the break.
It’s been good so far, once we were past the worst of the rain and flooding!
I didn’t realise this was just the bottom half ^^ thought you were ready for a happy dance!
No, there’s another double row of upper case letters above the angel!
It’s beautiful already. Love cross stitch but can’t do it anymore. You do a lovely job of it.
Thank you, I’m enjoying this one – I love single colour sampler-type work, and it was small enough to be encouraging.
The bottom half is lovely – can’t wait to see the top 🙂
More of the same sort of thing 🙂
