Foot²Freestyle progress: November

Screen Shot 2015-03-14 at 7.32.54 pmAlready we are seeing some gorgeous F²F blocks for November.

Regrettably, the October blocks from Avis and Annett have not yet emerged from the black hole of La Poste France, but I believe there is still hope, and Lynn is content to wait a bit longer.

While for some of us, Avis‘ chosen colours of bright blue and bright purple are outside our normal comfort zone, I’ve really enjoyed making the leap and had fun with her blocks. Avis has decided to wait to see what we all make before deciding on her own blocks, so that she can use her blocks to integrate everything successfully. A clever idea, and it’ll be interesting to see how much integrating is needed; the brief is nice and clear!

I’m sure you don’t need reminding that Christmas is looming up on us fast, and that mail will be somewhat slower than usual. This will impact on both Avis this month and Christina in December. If you are able, it would probably be a good idea to get a bit ahead of yourself and get your blocks mailed a little early.

Do go and look at the November blocks going up in the gallery. We are still turning out awesome work, ladies, so keep it up!

I want to go and look at the blocks for Avis so far but still don’t want to see the remaining ones for me in case they turn up 😦 I was thinking of getting ahead with Christine’s – thanks for the reminder.

I’m slightly amazed that my blocks reached Lynn before Avis’ since mine were coming from a further distance with the wrong postal code. I’ll have it easy in December!

The thought of getting ahead of myself for anything, blocks included, at the moment is extremely appealing!!

Thankyou, that would be really nice, but when you come in February I will be IN…….house revamp not completed, but comfortable livable. I’ll be able to offer you morning …or afternoon…tea on the riverbank……whee!
