Foot²Freestyle: August Roundup

August has been another magic month for beautiful blocks.

Screen Shot 2015-03-14 at 7.32.54 pmIt was Susan’s turn to receive  blocks in shades of red, white and blue, and there are some lovely freestyles, and some gorgeous traditional blocks in patriotic colours. Hop over to the F²F gallery page and scroll down all the way to August to see the month’s contributions. Everyone has got their blocks off in time, which is great, because it means Susan doesn’t have to wait too long for everything to arrive. I’m looking forward to seeing what she makes of her blocks in due course.

In September, it’s Sue’s turn. Her colour selections are black and white plus a bright, intense colour of our choice (hot pink, lime green, electric blue, strong yellow, etc.). It’s an exciting combination, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we all come up with.

A quick reminder to the F²F participants: please don’t post about the blocks you’ve made for Sue until she confirms they’ve been received. We’re mostly following each other’s blogs, so the photos will appear in the Reader or our email inboxes, and the surprise will be spoiled for her. I will post the photos in the gallery, and Sue can avoid looking there if she wants to be surprised!

A wonderful collection of different blocks again! I’m looking forward to the next round!

  2. You are one bunch of very talented ladies. I cringe at the complexity of some of those squares. Amazing.
